OFF THE BLOG
January was a crazy busy month for me.
My second semester of college started on the 8th. I am taking 21 credit hours this semester, so my work load has been insane. After having a 3.5 week break for winter break, coming back to a work load that heavy was a little overwhelming at first. I have gotten back into my groove now though and everything has gone pretty well so far. I didn’t think I’d survive my English class this semester, but it hasn’t been that bad so far. I’m not fond of writing papers and this class has 4 major papers that we need to write. Each paper will be a little bit longer also. I was scared of this 4-5 page paper I just turned in today, so I can’t imagine what I’ll feel like later on when they’re approaching 10 pages. Eek! I have made a couple new friends this semester, so that’s been fun. School has been going great though. I have a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester, made the President’s Honors List, was invited to join the National Society for Leadership and Success and also was chosen to receive a scholarship. All of the hard work that I’ve been putting in is really starting to pay off and I’m so proud of everything I have accomplished.
Chris and Logan are doing well. They actually get their report cards today, so we’ll see when they get home if they’ve been able to maintain their honor roll or not. 😉
We got some snow earlier in the month. We were only supposed to get 1 or 2 inches (a “dusting” as they called it), but we ended up with over 6 inches! It was awesome. We hardly ever get that much snow here.
MONTHLY FUNNY
The struggle is real with this one lol
Great post!
