Falling for Fall Tag

I saw this tag over on Britt’s blog, Alternatively Speaking, and just had to do it!  I absolutely love fall and this seemed like the perfect post to put up on the first day of October.  Don’t you think?  😉

Let’s get on to the questions, shall we?

1. What is your favorite Fall scent?
   My favorite fall scent hands down is apple cinnamon.  Oh my goodness, just the thought of it is enough to send me into a little pile of mush.  I’m a sucker for all things apple cinnamon.  ❤
2. Do you prefer apple stuff or pumpkin stuff?
   Apple definitely.  I was a big pumpkin fan when I was little, but as I got older, I just didn’t care for it anymore.  I’m an apple girl now.
3. What is one thing that you look forward to every single Fall?
   The first thing I look forward to is the cooler weather.  I can’t stand summer and being hot.  I’m always yearning for the days of cooler weather.  Other than that, it’s looking foward to all of the traditions that this time of year brings.
4. How do you like to spend the more chilly/cloudy days in the Fall?
   I cuddle up in a blanket and read a book.  It’s the best way to spend a day!
5. Which do you prefer: Halloween or Thanksgiving?
   This is a really hard choice.  I love Halloween because I have kids now and it is so much fun for them.  I love seeing them dress up and go trick-or-treating and having fun at all of the festivals that we go to.  But I also love Thanksgiving.  Not just for the food (but it’s a huge plus!), but because we get to spend some quality time together with our family.  If I had to choose one though, I’d probably go with Thanksgiving.
6. What is one way you do to embrace the Fall season?
   I don’t think I really do anything specific to embrace the fall season.
7. What photos would you like to get this Fall season?
   I would love to make it up to the mountains sometime soon so we can get pictures of the leaves changing.  It’s always a beautiful view up there.
   
   
8. Favorite childhood memory from this season?
   Going up to the mountains to see the leaves changing.  We would go every year.
9. What is your favorite trend (fashion/makeup/etc) so far this season?
   I’m not really into fashion or makeup or anything like that, but I love all of the different flavors of coffee that are offered during the fall season.
10. Describe what the Fall weather really looks like where you live.
    
    This is what the mountains near where I live look like in the fall.  This is up on the parkway in the North Carolina mountains.  Isn’t it beautiful?  So many different bright colors.  We have temperatures in the low to mid 70’s and it drops down into the 60’s as winter approaches.
