The book I have decided to talk about is Twelve Slays of Christmas by Jacqueline Frost.
Isn’t this cover beautiful? This definitely gives you a Christmas vibe. The story takes place in Mistletoe, Maine and the family of the main character runs a Christmas Tree Farm. How cool is that?

I love all the Christmasy book covers popping up everywhere. There are so many pretty covers out there this time of year. I’ve decided to pick the cover for A Cosy Candlelit Christmas by Tilly Tennant. This cover has a delightful festive feel to it. I love looking at Christmas lights, and gazing out the window at the winter weather (of course, from inside with a cup of hot chocolate to keep me warm).

Talk about a cover with a Wonderful Christmas Feel!!!
With Paranormal Romance, so many authors take advantage of the holidays and grace us with some fantastic “Christmas themed stories”. And some of the covers created for these stories are just jaw-dropping. Case in point with my selection, Bayou Noël by Laura Wright and Alexandra Ivy. I had so many covers to choose from but I kept coming back to this one. Those traditional Christmas red and green colors just jumped out at me and I love the simple gold gift and dainty border of Christmas lights. It might be cold outside, but I’m sure this guy knows how to keep a girl warm.

I love Christmas and holiday themed book covers, especially when it comes to cozy mysteries! The covers of those books always make me want to climb inside the illustration or photo and cozy up to the fireplace, or walk around the quaint town that is pictured.
However, there is one book cover that is on the other side of the spectrum from those cozy mysteries that really caught my eye recently.
It’s the book cover for Hark! the Herald Angels Scream: An Anthology, edited by Christopher Golden. The illustration is spooky, but it has such a classic horror feel to it with the textures and the fonts that were chosen. And of course, the color scheme is just perfect for a holiday book cover!

So I have always thought “adult” books aren’t very Christmasy. Most are kind Cheesy to me. However, most classic children’s christmas stories are well illustrated. I was going to use my answer from yesterday, but that cover, while associated with Christmas because of the title is NOT very Christmassy. So I looked up The Nutcracker and found this wonderful cover. I love The Nutcracker. I go to the ballet every year and it’s so magical. I can’t wait to go see the new Disney version! Mixing three things I love, Disney, Christmas and this magical tale. If you have never read it, I recommend the read and of you have never seen the Ballet, I suggest you find it on your favorite Movie watching venue this year. Better yet…. Go buy ballet tickets.
